Sudokudle

Terms of Service

Effective: August 16, 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Sudokudle, a web service available through sudokudle.com, supported third-party platforms, and related community features. Sudokudle is a free, non-commercial project. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Sudokudle.

Contact: info@sudokudle.com.

2. The service

Sudokudle provides daily and training Sudoku puzzles, timers, completion statistics, rankings, streaks, Discord channel leaderboards, and optional community-server roles. Features can differ between the public website, Discord direct messages, Discord servers, and the official Sudokudle community server.

No purchase or subscription is required. Internet access and, for Discord features, a Discord account and a compatible Discord client are your responsibility.

3. Eligibility

You may use Sudokudle only if you can legally agree to these terms. If you are not old enough to do so on your own, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use. When using Sudokudle through Discord, you must also meet Discord's age requirements and comply with the Discord Terms of Service and community rules.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Sudokudle for personal entertainment. You must not:

Reasonable security research must avoid personal data, service disruption, and public disclosure before a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue. Reports can be sent to info@sudokudle.com.

5. Discord and third-party services

Discord features depend on services provided by Discord. The Discord Terms of Service and Discord Privacy Policy apply separately to your Discord account and use of Discord. Sudokudle is an independent project and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Discord Inc. Discord may change or discontinue platform functionality that Sudokudle relies on.

6. Intellectual property

Sudokudle and its original branding, interface, code, text, and visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, trademarks, libraries, and assets remain the property of their respective owners. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service as provided.

7. Availability, changes, and suspension

Sudokudle is provided as an evolving free project. Features, puzzles, rankings, or stored data may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued when reasonably necessary for operation, security, legal compliance, or project development. No uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised.

Access may be restricted if reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect other users, comply with law, or enforce these terms. You may stop using Sudokudle at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy supplied through the official Sudokudle application listing.

8. Liability

Liability is unlimited where required by law, including for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, and liability under mandatory product-liability law.

For slight negligence, liability applies only where an essential contractual obligation has been breached. In that case, liability is limited to the damage that was typical and reasonably foreseeable when these terms were accepted. Essential obligations are those whose fulfilment makes proper use of the service possible and on whose fulfilment a user may ordinarily rely. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory statutory rights.

9. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you habitually reside. Statutory rules determine the competent courts.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated to reflect changes to Sudokudle, applicable law, or platform requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and will not restrict mandatory rights.
